Meet the Summer Interns: Alexa Gerbrands

**What is your role with LGH?** I am one of the event planning interns. I am currently planning an event on July 28th at The Avalon for the Feature-Length Rough-Cut Premiere of "Moving On". The movie is amazing and I am excited for people to get a behind the scenes look at LGH. **Where are you from?** I was born and raised in Riverside California but have been living in Grand Junction for the past 2 years.... I absolutely love Colorado. **How did you hear about LGH?** From my older brother Austin. I was in Zimbabwe a few years ago and when I came home he was wearing one of LGH's cool shirts. He said he missed me and wanted to do something to help Africa. Through searching the web he came across LGH website and from there on out we both became full supporters. I moved to GJ 2 years ago and met Mary Kate at the local coffee shop I work at and when we got to talking she told me she works for LGH.........Now here I am interning with this amazing Organization. Psalm 37:4 **What are some of your hobbies?** I love adventures! exploring, traveling, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, experiencing different cultures, eating, trees (weird I know, but I love them!), basically anything outside and I wanna be there! I was born in Cali but I am definitely meant to be in Colorado. Everyday I am here I fall more in love with the beauty.
