Before moving to Jinja, Molly Apio and her family spent a lot of their time running from the LRA (Lords Resistance Army). Once she was able to move away, Molly moved to Jinja. Before she heard about SUUBI, Molly worked as much as she could carrying water and working on other peoples farmland. She was able to make money at both jobs, but Molly says it was just enough to get by. A friend of Mollys introduced her to SUUBI. Molly quickly decided to register, and began selling her beads. Now, Molly says she is able to pay her rent and provide food for her family. As a single mom, Molly is thankful for the opportunity to be able to not only support herself, but her family as well.
